‘Studio B’ takes up residence in 12H

One of Shepherd Smith’s shows, “The Fox Report,” has been using Fox News Channels new HD studio 8H for about a month now, and now his other show has followed suit, reports TVNewser.

“Studio B” has, somewhat ironically, moved over to studio 8H. Though the show name and studio number don’t match, it’s probably not likely that Fox will rename the studio. Somehow “Studio 8H” doesn’t quite have the ring of “Studio B.”

I always thought “Studio B” was a little bit of an odd naming choice since, for me at least, it seems to imply the show is somehow second-rate (think “B-Roll” or “B-list”)…
