Every year…

Back in 2010, NewscastStudio launched our own vanity URL shortener, nca.st — and every year around this time it goes down.

Why? Because we forget to renew the domain!

Earlier today, right on schedule, our short links started failing.

Not to fear, — we’ve renewed the domain and also added a recurring reminder to our calendars to renew it every year (why didn’t we think of that before?) so hopefully this won’t happen again!

The links should start working again soon, but it may vary depending on Internet provider.

If you’re not familiar with the nca.st domain, you see these links mainly on our Twitter and Facebook profiles — they let us direct users to posts and other content without posting the full domain, something that’s immensely helpful on character-limiting services such as Twitter.
