CNBC‘s “Fast Money” is now broadcasting from one of the upper floors of the NASDAQ MarketSite overlooking Times Square in New York City.
The show recycled its desk by James Yates Production Design and takes advantage of MarketSite’s curved wall of glass to give viewers a sweeping view of outside. Above the windows, a video ribbon is used for additional branded graphics.
“Fast Money” had been originating from the ground level of MarketSite, using the video wall NASDAQ makes available to the news media as its primary background. Now that it’s relocated away from this, the show loses the ability to show realtime data behind its anchors but gains a more secluded space.
The new setup includes a data visualization area with office space behind.
Fellow CNBC show “Squawk Box” moved to a streetside studio last week.
