As part of a regular segment where Natalie Morales and Jenna Bush Hager are placed in precarious positions, NBC News‘ “Today Show” took its anchor team took a virtual spin on a roller coaster.
Along with Morales and Hager, hosts Savannah Guthrie and Willie Geist intro’d the segment in front of Studio 1A‘s production area video panels.
Combined with some roller-coaster style seats and safety bar and a video loop from a real coster, the result was a rather convincing (and sometimes dizzying) coaster “ride” for the hosts.
At times, however, the seams in the screen were glaring visible, which ruined the effect.
