Evening newscasts add patriotic flair to Inauguration Day graphics

‘ABC World News Tonight’

Over at “ABC World News Tonight,” the network created a stacked logotype for its inauguration coverage that, for the most part, matched the look and feel of the show’s normal graphics, though both the blue and red were slightly richer hues.

ABC News also added rows of stars to its design.

For in-show graphics, the network stuck with its normal lower thirds, using the top red tier to identify the coverage.
