Fox News
Fox News’ morning coverage of the approaching storm was delivered under the “Fox News Alert” banner, with a “Hurricane Harvey Tracker” radar loop box added in the lower right of the screen during many segments.
CNN
On CNN, the network used a bold blue graphic with a spiral storm graphic below along with two fluttering hurricane warning flags for its coverage.
Like Fox, the network showed a radar loop in the lower right with current stats shown along the bottom of the screen.
The Weather Channel
The Weather Channel, not surprisingly, went wall-to-wall with Harvey coverage, including using a look similar to its NBCUniversal cousins under the same “Tracking Harvey” banner.
The network’s L-bar was updated to include a sidebar alternating between a variety of Harvey stats and data as well as a radar loop.
