Glor, anchor of “CBS Evening News,” originated the broadcast from New York City’s Central Park — with the snowy ground, city skyline and lamp posts visible in the background.
The show’s insert graphics included a blue graphic with a Ridley Grotesk rendered in an icy texture with a thermometer icon to the left.
The broadcast also used fullscreen graphics with facts and figures about the storm.
The show’s white-heavy graphics package that debuted in December 2017 did, at times, blend in with the whiteout imagery being shown on screen, bringing the show’s “blinded by white” open all the more appropriate.
