CBS News is using a pale yellow, blue and white palette that emphasizes a large gold ring shaped element — which is an interesting nod to the network’s circular logo.
The network’s morning show, “CBS This Morning” took the somehow unusual step of recoloring its graphics for the occasion. Although this is a practice “Today” and “GMA” do often, “CBS This Morning” tends to stick to its normal yellow look for rolling news coverage, blue and red for political news and red for breaking news.
Also included in the look is an added box perched atop of the lower thirds with the words “The Royal Wedding” in a serif typeface with a gold ring.
