“CBS This Morning” also lead with the story, using an animated segment similar to the one it used when The New Yorker broke the story of CBS CEO Leslie Moonves’ resignation.
This designed featured typography borrowed from The New Yorker as well as a variety of cut-out imagery, print registration marks and color test pattern accents.
The story was featured with the headline “New Kavanaugh accuser” and, like “Today,” a “breaking overnight” label.
CBS had Donald Trump’s counselor Kellyanne Conway on after a report from Nancy Cordes, who provided the White House’s perspective on the latest accusations.
