‘NBC Nightly News’ also broadcast from in front of the synagogue with the memorial Stars of David visible behind him. The same “Synagogue Attack” logotype from Saturday night was used.

Select full screen graphics, including this look at the victims of the shooting, featured the look NBC almost always uses for mass shooting coverage — a red, violet and blue gradient background and right angle accents.
The Sunday edition of “Nightly” is normally anchored by Kate Snow and, although her name doesn’t appear on the title screen, the announcer does say her name in his voiceover, just as it’s done with Jose Diaz-Balart.
