ABC News’ ‘Good Morning America’ used its normal text-heavy approach to brand its coverage as ‘Raging Inferno: California Burning’ along with the normal breaking news red.

The show then cut to a video on video setup using two video walls showcasing footage of the fires along with key facts about the fire.

The network also used a bold orange map with microtext and techy-accents.

The show’s L-shaped video walls were used to show the ‘California Burning’ with bright orange imagery along with three of the networks’ correspondents assigned to the story — all wearing bright yellow safety jackets with ABC News branding.

‘GMA’ also partnered with its O&O in Los Angeles, KABC to feature the station’s helicopter pilot, Scott Reiff, who showcase the scope of the fire from the air.
