With the partial government shut down active, the all three major cable news networks are using “countups” for how long the shutdown has gone on.

The networks are also running counters on their websites.

Fox News has pushed aside its lower third and is using the space often used by promos or other countdowns with a red, white and blue counter.

MSNBC parked its countdown graphic, using a design inspired by its election graphics.

CNN also added its counter to above its bug.
