For graphics, the telecast stuck with the strong geometric Century Gothic-esque font with the triangular “A” with the statuette under it.

The same font was used throughout the show’s graphics.

This year, the show used animated, white hand-drawn style that used a combination of right angles and diagonals inspired by the logotype.

Lower third elements used the subtle outline elements, as did the end credits and sponsor graphics used going to and from breaks.

When select winners were about to be announced, the angled elements and hand drawn lines were used again to create “boxes” that showed live feeds from each performer’s set (or, in the case of absent ones, still photos).

The presenter occupied the left portion of the screen and the winner’s box “lit up” when his or her name was announced.
