‘Today’ tweets about ‘great show’ featuring beheading news

It’s one thing to get excited about your show’s rundown — but it’s another to tweet about it being “a great show” when it’s full of bad (or downright tragic) news.
NBC News‘ “Today Show” found that out the hard way with a tweet posted to its Twitter account Sunday morning.
The tweet, which has since been deleted, lead off with “We’ve got a great show,” and then went on to list its top stories: An alleged ISIS beheading, a deadly chemical plant accident and cold weather.
