Studio 360, a syndicated radio program recently aired a segment about the history behind the “Monday Night Football” sports theme music.
Specifically, the show examines “Heavy Action,” the music used on the venerable broadcast, now on ESPN, since 1989 (back then the games were carried by ABC, which would eventually go on to buy ESPN).
