Vizrt will showcase its tools to help media companies maximize their return on investment while building a production platform that will prepare them for the future at IBC 2017.
Online video
Vizrt will demonstrate a powerful turnkey solution for the online productions of the future at IBC 2017.
The online production suite gives media companies an easy way to get their live multi-camera productions published to any platform, including Facebook Live and VOD.
Viz Opus creates an end-to-end workflow using proven IP-based tools for live productions from live feeds to any output channel – all in a single box controlled by the journalist.
Integrated social TV tools allow media companies to engage with their audience, displaying live Facebook comments and likes that enhance the live experience.
From the same desktop, the journalist uses Viz Story to easily edit video and audio with multiple language tracks, add high-quality graphics, and instantly publish segments from the live production to social media. The combination of production and publishing tools provides everything needed to produce content for the platforms of today and tomorrow.
‘The Big AR Show’
IBC will also feature “The Big AR Show!” with augmented reality (AR) graphics from some of the world’s biggest media companies. The presentation will show attendees how to tell engaging stories that capture and retain audiences and add new revenue streams by using virtual graphics in the studio or outdoors.
“The Big AR Show” includes photo-realistic augmented reality (AR) graphics, a 7-meter Leyard videowall and an interactive screen.
Powered by Viz Engine and Viz Virtual Studio, this spectacular tour of cutting-edge AR graphics will take place every hour on the Vizrt booth.
Viz Eclipse for sports arenas
Also on display will be the Viz Eclipse, a system that virtually replaces perimeter advertising boards with region-specific ads.
This allows clubs and federations to sell targeted advertisements in every market, opening up additional revenue streams.
Being minimally intrusive, Viz Eclipse can handle the virtual ads production directly from the control room, limiting the interaction with existing broadcast workflows and avoiding additional hardware at the venue.
After extensive and successful testing over the last months, Viz Eclipse will have regular applications in Europe during the 2017-2018 football season.
Viz Arena for virtual ads
Viz Arena allows sports broadcasters and production companies to monetize live sports content by inserting virtual ads on or beside the playing field.
In addition, Viz Arena also creates added value for sports programs by adding AR graphics tied to the playing field.
Viz One asset management
Technology and new ways of consuming media is changing how broadcast production is performed. Viz One effectively brings the entire organization together with powerful collaboration on one platform using a common set of tools to find, produce and manage media regardless of content type and geographical location – now including Amazon S3 cloud storage.
The powerful media asset management technology and open architecture of Viz One, provides a long-term platform that will grow and adapt to your business and technology needs. The Vizrt booth 7.A20 will feature demonstrations of our latest developments, a social zone where guests can meet with Vizrt executives to discuss the future of media and daily social events.
